Get the GreenCardClock app

Put GreenCardClock on your home screen or desktop, and get a notification when each new visa bulletin is published. The app is this website in its own window. It shows the same pages and estimates as the website, and nothing is saved on your device for offline use. Installing it and turning on alerts are free.

Install it

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open greencardclock.com/app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (if you do not see it, tap the three dots first), then Add to Home Screen. If you see an Open as Web App switch, leave it on. Then tap Add.
  3. Open GreenCardClock from your home screen, tap Get the app at the bottom of the page, and turn on alerts there. Notifications need iOS 16.4 or later.

Android, and Chrome or Edge on a computer

Use the Install button when it appears below, or the browser menu: Install app, or Add to Home screen. If your browser has no install option, you can still turn on alerts here.

Visa bulletin alerts on this device

After the U.S. Department of State publishes a new visa bulletin and we add it to the site, we send this device one notification: the final action date for the country and category you choose, and how it changed from the bulletin before. Apart from a one-time confirmation when you turn alerts on, that is the only notification you get from us. The dates come from the bulletin itself (travel.state.gov). Not legal advice.

This is separate from our emails. It needs no email address or account, and turning it on or off does not change the visa bulletin digest or any alert you set while signed in.

What we store: this browser's push address and keys, with the country and category you choose. Turning alerts off deletes them, and so does your browser's push service telling us the subscription has ended. You can also block notifications for this site in your browser settings. See the Privacy Policy.
