What to Expect

Response time: We typically respond to emails and Reddit messages within 1-3 business days. Bug reports and data errors are prioritized — if something is broken or showing incorrect data, we want to know immediately.

Bug reports: When reporting a bug, please include the page URL, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots are always helpful. If the issue involves a specific search query or data point, include the exact inputs you used.

Feature requests: We actively shape the product roadmap based on community feedback. If you have an idea for a new tool or improvement, tell us the problem you're trying to solve — not just the feature you want. This helps us build the right solution.

Data corrections: All data on GreenCardClock comes from official government sources (DOL OFLC, USCIS, State Department). If you believe a data point is incorrect, please reference the specific government source so we can cross-check and correct it.

Business inquiries: For advertising, partnerships, attorney directory listings, or media requests, please use the email address above. Include your organization name and a brief description of how you'd like to work together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GreenCardClock free?
Yes. All core tools — including the Priority Date Estimator, USCIS Case Status tracker, Salary Explorer, Employer Tracker, and Sponsor Finder — are completely free to use. We plan to offer optional Pro features in the future, but the core platform will always remain free.

Where does the data come from?
Every data point on GreenCardClock comes from publicly available U.S. government sources: DOL OFLC quarterly disclosure files for LCA/salary data, State Department visa bulletins for priority date movement, and USCIS processing time data. We do not use self-reported salary data or unverified sources.

How often is data updated?
Visa bulletin data is updated monthly when the State Department publishes new bulletins. LCA salary data is updated quarterly when the DOL releases new disclosure files. USCIS processing times are refreshed daily. Policy news is synced from official RSS feeds every day.

Can you help with my immigration case?
No. GreenCardClock is a data and information platform, not a law firm. We cannot provide legal advice, review your case, or make recommendations about your immigration strategy. For case-specific guidance, please consult a qualified immigration attorney. You can browse our Attorney Directory to find one.

Is my data safe?
We take privacy seriously. Case tracker receipt numbers are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers. We use Google sign-in for optional account features but do not share your information with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Data is updated monthly from official government sources.
